1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

När jag (som så ofta) begrundade de första verserna i psalm 1, så såg jag denna bild för mitt inre. Jag tänkte att wow, den måste jag ju bara måla! Detta är den första målningen någonsin som jag gör helt utan referensfoto. Jag har lärt mig en del nu om hur ljuset faller, och hur vatten ser ut. Bakgrunden täcks med orden ur den första psalmen, och skimrar i ockra överdragen med en metallisk guldfärg. Denna reflekteras även i vattnet och på stenarna. Den är inte färdig än…
