THE PROCESS: We decide together how your digital painting will look, I send a sketch before starting. You accept the final painting before payment is done. Payment link (from Invoicery) will be sent to your email. When I have seen your payment, your digital painting will be sent to your email!

What kind of pictures work?
ANY PICTURES! Low quality / resolution is fine.
I take commissions for photo manipulations/drawings on top of your images digitally, to create warm and loving pictures of your loved ones. NO MATTER HOW SMALL your baby was at birth – stillborn full term, born at 16 weeks or only 8 weeks gestation, I will make a special picture for you from the photo that you have. ALL babies and children are welcome. And don’t hesitate to send ”shocking/sensitive” images, perhaps from hospital environments, perhaps with visible blood or deformities etc. I have seen a lot already. I also have personal experience from serious and even life threatening disease and illness in my own children.
Attention! There is no obligation to buy the finished picture. You buy it if you are happy with the result and want to buy it.
How is payment done?
Payment link from Invoicery will be sent to your email. Your digital painting will be sent to your email after I have seen your payment.
Are there any terms of use of the image?
You can proceed to order prints of it from any store you like. You may however not sell the image. You can of course share it online as you please. And I would be very happy if you want to let people know where you got it from :)
HOW ARE THE PAINTINGS DONE?
When I make these images, I first make the image darker and also black & white. Then I smudge the photo a bit to get rid of unnecessary detail, to make it look softer and overall more like a painting. Then I paint back the light that I reduced in the beginning, to achieve a warm lighting, and most often, light in another direction than the original image file. Also usually a more powerful light (like sunshine).
Then I carefully draw/paint wings on the child that has passed on. The wings are ”hand painted”, not copy-pasted. I try to create a sense of intimacy and life. The background is also usually changed, especially if it is boring/not so pretty. But it is all done according to your wishes.
I can also make things disappear in the photo, like hospital bracelets or medical tubes, ugly patterns on clothing or distracting objects in the background etc. A hospital room kan become a place in beautiful outdoor scenery.
How is Delivery Done?
After the digital painting/image is complete and you are happy with the result, I will send you a payment link. Then, after payment is received, I will send the finished image file to your email. And you can proceed to order prints of it from any store you like. You may however not sell the image, only use it for you, your friends and family.
